Hystory and designs - Slavoljub Penkala

Engineer Slavoljub Penkala is one of the most important inventers at the beginning of the 20th century, born on April 28, 1871. After graduation on September 28, 1892 and finishing his studies at the Universities of Vienna and Dresden, he graduated from the Royal high technical school in Dresden on March 25, 1989, where he wrote his doctorate in the field of organic chemistry.

The scope of his work envelops 70 to 80 inventions in the field of mechanics, chemistry, physics, aeronautics etc. In 1903, he patented the "Termofor" (heated water bottle) in Budapest, Vienna and elsewhere. The Hungarian patent carries the number 29276. Parallel to this invention, he worked on inventing mechanical pencils and ink pens.
